Optos Retinal Examination

Utilizing the OPTOS instrument for retinal examination is the latest and most efficient technology to assess the peripheral retina. These areas of the retina previously could only be seen with pupil dilation. OCT, or Ocular Coherence Tomography, screenings will be done to assess the health of the macula and optic nerve. This is the latest technology to assess the internal layers of the retina, aiding in the early detection of macular degeneration, glaucoma, and other retinal diseases.
